FOOD PACKER
Job Title: Food Packer Department: Two Fish Crab Shack Distribution
Reports to: CEO Effective Date: September 2021
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $16 - $18 /hour
Job Summary: The Food Packer is responsible for prepping and packing food and drinks for distribution and sale. The Food Packer handles a variety of varying from meat, vegetables, and pre-cooked meals to soda and other beverages. The Food Packer is also responsible for following all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to Personal Protection Equipment and hygiene policies, in cooperation with the supervisor.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Prep and package food and drinks for distribution and sale

Safely operate and maintain applicable machinery

Perform cleaning duties in production and storage spaces
-
Ensure appropriate items are packaged in compliance with developed procedures
-
Maintain health and safety regulations in production, and product storage spaces
Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent attention to detail
-
Ability to follow directions
-
Ability to understand and maintain hygiene and food safety rules
-
Ability to work in collaborative, dynamic work environment within a fast-paced setting
-
Ability to operate applicable machinery
Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
One year of related experience is preferred
Physical Requirements:
-
Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends, and evenings
-
Possess physical dexterity for repetitive motion
-
Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
-
Able to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
-
Able to work in a cold prep area kept at 35 degrees

Sauce Maker
Job Title: Sauce Maker Department: Two Fish Crab Shack Distribution

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $16 - $18 /hour
Job Summary: The Sauce Maker is responsible for preparing high-quality products consistently by following recipes, specifications and procedures as instructed. The Sauce Maker cleans and organizes work stations and other assigned areas to help maintain the standards for production. The Sauce Maker is also responsible for following all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to Personal Protection Equipment and hygiene policies, in cooperation with the supervisor.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform pre-shift preparation and ensure that all surfaces that will contact product are sanitized and ready for operation

Blend together all of the necessary dry, wet and refrigerated ingredients to meet formula specifications

Prep and mix ingredients without deviation while mixing formula for sauce packaging, distribution and sale following specific directions to ensure consistent product outcome

Perform cleaning duties in production spaces

Ensure appropriate items are ready for packaging in compliance with developed procedures
-
Maintain health and safety regulations in production spaces
Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to safely operate mixing and other specified tools

Ability to follow directions

Ability to understand and maintain hygiene and food safety rules

Ability to work in collaborative, dynamic work environment within a fast-paced setting

Possess a general knowledge of how the mixture or adding of certain ingredients will affect the overall product

Must be able to read and communicate in the English language in order to accurately select materials per batch sheets, interpret and execute documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Possess reading and math skills needed to accurately verify quantities of ingredients and to accurately add ingredients to batch

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with coworkers and management
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

One year of related experience is preferred
